Art Nouveau Vintage 1920’s Four-Arm Pan Light Fixture
vintage ornate Art Nouveau pan light ceiling fixture
Vintage ornate 1920’s Art Nouveau four-arm pan light ceiling fixture. This fixture was disassembled, cleaned and restored. The four arms were reinforced and the original wiring was removed. It has been rewired with period-style cloth cord and a ground wire was installed as well. The buyer assumes all liability when installing this fixture. We recommend a licensed electrician or at least someone with vast electrical experience.
All four inner sockets and insulators have been replaced and period-style socket knobs were installed that give this fixture a charming semblance.
The finish has wear and blemishes including loss of finish, scratches, fading, paint specks, etc; but we believe that it adds character to this spectacular fixture. The shade holders have small separations which is common in these old pan fixtures.
The following dimensions are approximate: The total drop (canopy to shade bottom) is 32.5″. The width is 16.5″ (arm to arm). The shade holders are approximately 9.25″ apart.
The four matching etched-glass shades are in overall good condition with some minor flakes to the rim and aperture.
Approximate shade dimensions:
