Description
Jefferson Table Lamp Antique Hexagonal shaped Reverse Painted Shade
Established in 1900, the Jefferson Lamp Company is renowned for their elaborately designed shades and painted bases. This early 1900’s Jefferson desk lamp is a beauty.
The hexagonal tapering shade has brilliant colors and is in excellent condition (flea bite to one bottom corner); impressed Jefferson signature on the aperture ring.
The 23 1/2″ tall painted base is adorned with two fully functional pull-chain original sockets on a spherical cluster; foot of base 8 1/2″. The hexagonal shade is 16″ at the widest point. Rewired with a very nice period twisted-cloth cord; an in-line rocker switch has been added as well. Measurements are approximate.
