Philip Julius Handel made lamps in Meriden, Connecticut, from 1893 to 1933.
A partial matte acid fleur-de-lis mark remains on the interior rim of this ribbed Steuben gold Aurene shade. Depending on the light source, this Steuben shade will glow in a multitude of different vibrant colors. Flea bites and chips are present on fitter rim of the shade, but they are covered by the fitter ring and are not visible when the shade is attached to the lamp. This shade has a beautiful, warm glow when lit.
