The buyer should contact us immediately (within 24 hours) if their item arrives damaged so that the proper claims procedures can be initiated. Delays in notification will only extend the time that it takes for the claim to be resolved. Claims personnel (FedEx, UPS, USPS) will inspect the damaged package to determine the cause of damage and verify that proper packing materials were used (in accordance with the shipping terms). Claims personnel may inspect the package at the shipper’s or receiver’s site, or may collect the package for inspection at a claims facility. If the buyer hires a third-party shipping agent and the item is damaged, the buyer has full responsibility to handle the claim with their agent.
