A very fine walnut and burl Victorian cylinder barrel roll top desk; circa 1875. The splendidly-carved gallery top rests above a burl walnut cylinder.
Upon opening the smooth-sliding roll top, a brown felt pull out writing surface as well as two drawers and storage compartments are revealed. Under the pull out writing surface is a long drawer that rests over two burl-accented doors.
