For all standard shipments handled through our three primary carriers, insurance is included, and a *Signature upon Delivery* is required.  This protects your purchase against loss or damage and ensures that it is delivered directly to you.  Buyer’s are responsible for ensuring the secure receipt and retrieval of their delivery.

OVERSIZED & BULK ITEMS

Items that exceed the size or weight limits of standard carriers cannot be shipped through regular methods.  For these oversized items, we will require the procurement of a specialized third-party shipping agent.  We also offer a convenient local pickup option at checkout.

If the buyer retains a third-party shipping agent, they must provide me with the agent’s full contact details. The shipping company must then contact me to confirm the scheduled pickup date and time window. If the carrier fails to reach out within 48 hours to establish this schedule, I will contact the buyer to arrange an alternative shipping agent. Please note that appointments must be scheduled between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM EST; evening or nighttime pickups cannot be accommodated.  We curate the history; the couriers control the journey.  Please note that Fickle Moon Antiques cannot accept liability for any damage incurred during shipping. We highly recommend full courier insurance to safeguard your rare finds.
